I'm currently running Exchange 2010, I want to update to 2013 and I want to create an off site disaster solution. Since I'm relatively new to Exchange here I what I want to do, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
- Build an Exchange 2013 instance in Azure
- Migrate my local Exchange 2010 to the Azure instance
- Upgrade my local copy
- Keep both the local and the Azure copy in sync for disaster recovery purposes
I guess another question would be related to the transactional cost of such a scenario in Azure if I pointed my MX record to the Azure copy.
Thanks in advance for your advice
