DAG Cluster Offline but Online?

Hi All,

Hoping to get some feedback. We had a weird event which affected all storage in one of our data centres.

This issue affected the cluster resource and created a deadlock situation with the following events:

Event ID:1230

Cluster resource 'Cluster Name' (resource type '', DLL 'clusres.dll') either crashed or deadlocked. The Resource Hosting Subsystem (RHS) process will now attempt to terminate, and the resource will be marked to run in a separate monitor.

Event ID: 1146

The cluster resource host subsystem (RHS) stopped unexpectedly. An attempt will be made to restart it. This is usually due to a problem in a resource DLL. Please determine which resource DLL is causing the issue and report the problem to the resource

What I can't get my head around is that the DAG was listed as Offline but all databases were mounted or healthy. What I expected was to see all databases dismounted and listed as stopped DAG servers? I'm not sure how closely active manager works with the cluster service...

Thanks

Josh
