I have a Primary, Secondary, & witness Data center where I intend to have a DAG defined across. I intend to run Exchange 2013 Enterprise Server edition on all servers in the DAG, host all active copies of the mailboxes in the primary site, 1
passive copy on the secondary site DAG Server members, and for a subset of users configure a Lagged copy in the Secondary site but on a different server than where their passive copy is stored. The witness site will have 1 witness server to maintain quorum
and I plan to put 2 mailbox servers at the primary and secondary data centers.
In this site resilient DAG design for Exchange 2013 I have a question about what the DAG level settings are that I need to review in my planning to know if I will need more than 1 DAG in my environment. For example, I know there is a limitation of 16 Servers in a DAG so if I needed more than 16 servers I would need a second DAG. Will I be able to setup a Lagged copy for only a subset of my users all within 1 DAG?
