Are there any Windows or Exchange 2013 specific services that need to be stopped prior to restoring a VSS snapshot? The requestor app log indicates it can not lock the volume first. Im unable to find the issue with procmon so far, such as open files.
There's nothing unusual installed on the server. It is a Hyper-v VM using Virtual FC connected drives. I know with Exchange 2010 we had to stop the replication service (and some other steps) to prevent the drive lock issue. This occurs with standard
databases and DAGs. Backup works fine.
